Interesting premise but I felt that the book leans towards the younger kids. It was light, easy-to-read, engaging, but it can also be annoying, boring, and predictable.
Lara Jean likes to write letters, but never sends them. She pours her feelings and emotions on paper, after all, they wouldn't be able to read it right? WRONG! The letters get sent, and now what would she do? It's funny how the lie she created turned into something big. Lara Jean is one of those girl characters who gets annoyed when people treat her like a child but ironically acts like one. Probably the thing I love best in this book is the relationship of the family, the sisters, and even their dad.
Love is all about taking risks. True we can get hurt, but we never know what will work until we are willing to give it a try. That is a lesson I've been reminded of while reading the book.
